New World Saison
Originally brewed for the Wellington Brewday Festival under the name Le Chaleureux Rivage, our Saison combines the traditional spicy yeast character and dry sessionability of a Belgian farmhouse ale with the exotic tropical fruit of New Zealand hops.
The addition of black peppercorns and coriander seed gives a real depth of complexity The result is refreshing delicate and incredibly food friendly finding a match to everything from fragrant Thai curries through to rich pork dishes, pates and terrines. .
Tasting Notes:
Complex aromas of spice, and tropical fruit give way to a crisp dry palate that balances a lean malt backbone with fruity hop notes, orchid fruit and Belgian spice.

Salmon, Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese, Cajun dishes, Terrines, Pate, washed rind cheese.
